Boundary Voices Ltd — Teaching Clarity With Compassion
Since 2019, we’ve been helping people in Sligo and beyond find their voice when saying no matters most.
We started because we saw the same struggle again and again. People would come to us knowing they needed to set a boundary, speak up, or simply say no — but they didn’t know how to do it without guilt, anger, or making things worse. The gap between wanting to be assertive and actually knowing what words to use? It’s real.
Boundary Voices Ltd isn’t about being aggressive or shutting people out. It’s about clarity. It’s about respect — for yourself and for the other person. We’ve built our courses and resources around what actually works in real conversations, not theory. When you say no with clarity and compassion, something shifts. You feel it. The other person feels it too.
That’s what we teach. Practical communication skills that don’t leave you feeling guilty afterward.
Training That Focuses on Real Conversations
We don’t teach theory. We teach what actually works when you’re sitting across from someone and need to set a boundary.
Language That Works
Specific phrases and frameworks you can actually use. Not vague advice — real words for real situations.
Clarity With Compassion
You don’t have to be cold or unkind to set boundaries. We show you how to be both direct and respectful.
Practical Training
Scenario-based learning that prepares you for the situations you actually face — work, family, relationships.
No Guilt Afterward
Learn why boundary-setting isn’t selfish. We address the emotional side, not just the technique.
How We Structure Our Training
A clear, step-by-step approach that builds your confidence as you go.
Foundation First
We start with the core principles — why boundaries matter, what assertiveness actually is, and why guilt shows up. You won’t feel lost when you understand the “why.”
Language Patterns
We give you the words. Specific language for different situations — saying no at work, declining requests from family, handling pushback when you set a boundary.
Practice and Scenarios
You work through real-world scenarios. What do you say when someone gets defensive? How do you stay calm when emotions run high?
Integration and Growth
You learn how to apply these skills in your actual life. Not as a rigid script, but as a foundation that becomes part of how you communicate.

What We Believe In
These principles guide everything we create and teach.
Respect First
Boundaries protect you. They also protect your relationships. We teach you how to do both at the same time.
Clarity Matters
Vague communication creates problems. Clear communication prevents them. We focus on clarity in every lesson.
You’re Not Alone
Struggling to set boundaries is common. That doesn’t mean you should suffer through it. We’re here to help.
“Setting a boundary isn’t about being mean or cold. It’s about respect — for yourself and for the person you’re talking to. Once you understand that, everything changes.”

Important Information
Our training materials are designed to provide educational guidance on assertive communication and boundary setting. While we focus on practical, real-world communication strategies, individual outcomes depend on personal practice, context, and application. Our resources complement but don’t replace professional counseling or therapy when deeper emotional work is needed. Each person’s situation is unique, and we encourage you to adapt our guidance to fit your circumstances. Success in communication is a process — it takes patience, practice, and often multiple conversations to see lasting change.
